Occupational Therapy
Jennifer earned her Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Therapy from Bangor University in North Wales and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology and Classics from University College Dublin, Ireland. She has also completed extensive professional development in areas such as cognitive assessments, pain management, wheelchair seating, and cultural safety in healthcare.
Jennifer has over a decade of experience delivering client-centered rehabilitation services across diverse settings, including hospitals, community health, dementia care facilities, and private homes. She has expertise in supporting clients with cognitive impairments, mobility challenges, and complex medical needs, and is skilled in prescribing adaptive equipment, conducting home safety assessments, and facilitating smooth transitions from hospital to home.
Jennifer is a licensed Occupational Therapist in British Columbia and has been actively involved in continuing education. She is passionate about enhancing client autonomy, safety, and quality of life through thoughtful, individualized care planning.
Outside of her professional work, Jennifer is an avid traveler who enjoys exploring new cultures, hill walking, reading, and music. She currently provides occupational therapy services in the Cowichan Valley.
