Teressa Donovan

Clinical Director & Founding Occupational Therapist

Teressa completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Psychology at the University of Victoria and a Master of Occupational Therapy at the University of British Columbia.

She has provided rehabilitation services in a variety of settings including community, hospitals, private clinics, and residential care. She has experience working with clients with stroke, traumatic brain injury, chronic pain, orthopaedic injuries, and mental health conditions. Teressa has worked in disability case management as a front line clinician as well as in the role of professional resource for fellow occupational therapists seeking advice on rehabilitation plans and provision of equipment based on policy and functional impairments. She is a certified Functional Capacity Evaluator (FCE), Certified EPIC Lift Capacity Evaluator, has completed the IRET Professional Orientation of Life Care Planning, Pain BC’s Fundamentals of Pain Management, and Coaching for Return to Work.

Outside of work, Teressa enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring nature, and working on various creative art projects.

Teressa provides occupational therapy services in Campbell River and the Comox Valley.
